Product UpdatesIntroducing Sheldon, Feather's Deterministic Tax Agent
A deterministic tax calculator built on a dedicated knowledge base and AI-generated rules - and how it went from 50% to 190/190 on TaxCalcBench.

Deliver is Feather tax document management system - research to memo, edit next to source docs, export to Drive or OneDrive.
This release is about Deliver - Feather tax document management system. Research becomes a client memo. Source forms stay open beside the draft. Finished work goes to Drive or OneDrive. And when the deliverable is a return, Feather will soon be able to prepare it. One workspace. From question to finished document.
Hit Prepare on any research answer and Feather turns it into a document. Following the initial memo release, that path is built for how you write for clients: client-facing or internal, facts gathered first, then a research catalog with header facts and cited sources before the draft.

Start from the conversation you just ran, or open a blank memo when you want a clean slate.

Deliver keeps the chat, the memo, and the underlying forms in one place. Edit markdown in the file panel, formatted or raw, without leaving Feather. File tabs let you keep a client memo, an internal memo, and an IRS Form open at the same time.

When the document is done, send it out. Google Drive and OneDrive export is available to everyone - any file, Safe document, or chat attachment, from the file panel or actions menu.
Following the Sheldon launch, Prepare, still in closed beta, now handles full state returns for California (Form 540), Illinois (IL-1040), New York (IT-201), and Virginia (Form 760), alongside the federal 1040.
Two new research sources feed the same Prepare workflow:
In the past couple of weeks we also fixed:
