Product UpdatesIntroducing Sheldon, Feather's Deterministic Tax Agent
A deterministic tax calculator built on a dedicated knowledge base and AI-generated rules - and how it went from 50% to 190/190 on TaxCalcBench.

Our biggest release in weeks: org sharing is live. Share files, folders, projects, and chats firm-wide, plus project mailboxes, FX rates, and in-app support.
This is one of the biggest releases we've shipped. Organization sharing is fully live - every team member can share files, folders, projects, and chats across the firm with no manual setup. We also added a dedicated mailbox for each project, official FX rates for foreign-income research, a round of chat and workflow improvements, and in-app support when you need help.

Feather organization sharing is now live. You can share any file, folder, project, or chat with your entire firm through a single, redesigned Share dialog. General Access toggles make it clear who can view or edit each item.

The new Org Safe area provides a shared space where uploaded documents and knowledge base content are accessible to everyone in your organization. Projects now show an Owner column so it's easy to see who is responsible for each one.
When a team member leaves the firm or closes their account, their shared resources transfer automatically.

Each project now has its own dedicated email address, making it simple to collect tax-relevant documents such as W-2s, 1099s, in one place. Just forward them directly to the project's inbox.

Feather now pulls official exchange rates when answering questions that involve foreign income or cross-border transactions. Currency conversions in your research use fixed IRS yearly averages for previous tax years and Treasury reporting rates for specific months and dates, not approximations.
Several smaller changes landed across the chat and workflow experience:
Feather now includes in-app support via Intercom. If you run into a question or issue, you can reach the team directly from within the product - no need to switch to email.
