Queue follow-up questions while Feather is processing and more quality of life enhancements
Welcome back to Feather Pulse. This week we shipped two chat UX improvements - queue follow-up messages while a response streams and paste files straight into the input - plus a batch of reliability fixes for @ mentions, document previews, and inline error states.
You no longer need to wait for Feather to finish before sending your next question. While the assistant is streaming you can type and queue up to three follow-up messages. They appear as stacked cards above the input so you can see what is lined up, remove any message before it sends, and keep your train of thought moving. When the response finishes the queue drains automatically in order.
You can now paste files into the chat input with Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) and they upload through the same pipeline as drag-and-drop. Screenshots copied to the clipboard are named automatically so they are easy to find in the upload queue. Plain-text paste continues to work as before.
That's all for this week. Take care!
