Feather Pulse: Week of 2026-02-06 - HTML Ingestion and Feather Android App.

Welcome back to our weekly changelog! This past week, from February 2nd to February 6th, 2026, our team focused on teaching our Tax Code Ingestion Engine to RAG HTML content. We've also released our Android app. Dive in to see what's new and improved!

Tax Code Ingestion Engine with HTML

We've expanded how we feed tax code into our AI. The Tax Code Engine was originally built with PDF ingestion; on top of that we now also process tax data directly from HTML—so when the source is HTML we no longer convert to PDF first. For those HTML sources the payoff is better answers, far better citations, and much faster ingestion.

To stress-test the new workflow, we included eCFR to our Tax Knowledge Base, so the model gets richer structure and you get more precise, verifiable results.

Feather Android App

For our users on the go, we've introduced new features and resolved important issues in our mobile application.

Android App Now Available: We're excited to announce the release of our [Feather App on the Google Play Store](Android app). You can now access Feather's AI-powered tax research and answers directly from your Android device.

Performance & Stability

Behind the scenes, we've also made improvements to ensure the platform runs smoothly and efficiently.

We implemented performance improvements to our API in response to some customers experiencing issues with folder deletion in Safe.

That's all for this week's changelog! Stay tuned for more updates next week!
